Is Social Enterprise For Me? – taster session
16th May 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Action Hampshire is involved in the Inspiring Enterprise programme, which is helping people who aren’t currently in paid work to think about starting up their own social enterprise or other small business. Here’s a video of the programme in action:
We’re running a ‘taster session’ to show how we can help you start a social enterprise – which simply means a business that makes things better for people, either in your local community or further afield. So if you have a business idea or if you just want to make a difference to your community, then come along to find out more!
Please let us know if you’d like to come or just be at the Discovery Centre on Weds 16 May for a 10am start. We’ll be in the Community Room. Email us or call 01962 857358 with any queries.
The Inspiring Enterprise programme is only open to people who aren’t currently working at all. However, if you are interested in social enterprise and you are in paid work at the moment, do contact our Social Enterprise Co-ordinator on 01962 857352 or by email to see how else we can help move your ideas forward. Do think about applying to our year-long social enterprise support programme – the deadline is 26 April.
This project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund and provides a fantastic opportunity to help 500 individuals move forward with their lives. The project is being delivered by a partnership that brings together a wealth of skills, expertise and experience to make sure that everyone gets help that is right for them. Our partnership is made up of: WSX Enterprise, Action Hampshire, Surrey Community Action, University of Winchester and Fredericks Foundation.
